David Warner(Principal)

Throughout his tenure Mr. Warner has helped create an environment that fosters the mission of the Elmwood Park School District and has led the High School through many district initiatives. As a leader he relies on the values of respect, commitment, consistency and self discipline to meet the needs of the 21st century student.

Karen Fasouletos  (Vice-Principal)

Mrs. Fasouletos has been a part of the Elmwood Park schools since 2005. Committed to the social and academic development of every student, she encourages all faculty, staff, students, and community members to be active participants in classroom. She was a recipient of the 2010 Governor's Award for Outstanding Teaching. A graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey, she majored in History and Secondary Education and completed her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Daniel Basile (Athletic Director)

Mr. Basile started his career in education in 1999 working in various schools across New Jersey over the last 16 years. His athletic background was in baseball and basketball in high school and was awarded a full scholarship to play basketball at Marist College. Mr. Basile was an alternate route candidate for physical education from Saint Peter's University and worked as a physical education teacher for 6 years. He was an Athletic Director for 5 years at University Academy Charter HS in Jersey City and later became a Vice Principal at Eastside HS in Paterson, NJ for 5 years. Mr. Basile's dedication is focusing on building athletic programs that will not only provide every student athlete a chance to be a participant on the college level but to also provide meaningful life skills beyond the court or playing fields. He is excited to start a new beginning with the Crusaders of Elmwood Park Memorial HS.

Mohammed Saadeh (Director of Pupil Personnel Services and Assessment)

As the Director of Pupil Personnel Services and Assessment, Mr. Saadeh is dedicated to creating a positive learning environment that foster individuality, common sense, critical thinking and success. Mr. Saadeh understands the importance of exposing students to different career paths, philosophies, ideologies and governments so students can completely understand their place in a modern global society. To achieve this end, Mr. Saadeh continues to work closely with the Elmwood Park community, staff and administration.

Jillian Torrento (Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Evaluation)


Ms. Torrento has been a part of the Elmwood Park School district since 2007. She began her career in education at the Gilbert Avenue School, where she taught 5th grade for six consecutive years, and coached softball at Memorial High School for 5 years.  In 2013, Ms. Torrento became the High School Assistant Principal/ Director of Athletics, and in 2015 was appointed as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Evaluation. She is very proud to continuing working with the wonderful staff and community of Elmwood Park.
