National Honor Society

NHS Induction

National Honor Society is an elite organization that recognizes those students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, AND service. Each year, juniors and seniors with an unweighted Cumulative GPA of 90 or above are invited to apply. After a rigorous application process that is used to help determine the applicants' strengths in the other three areas of character, leadership, and service, students are anonymously selected by a faculty teaching panel and later inducted into the society at a formal ceremony.

The goal of the society is to stimulate scholarship and activeparticipation in school affairs. Students participate in Peer Tutoring, volunteer for various organizations, and continue to strive to achieve their own goals, as well as help their peers, their community, and the larger global world.
